Baked Kale Chipskale-chips-470

1 Bunch of Kale

1-2 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil or Coconut Oil

3 Tbsp Nutritional Yeast Flakes

1 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder

1 1/2 tsp Chili Powder

1 tsp Onion Powder

1 tsp Smoked Paprika

1/2 tsp fine grain Sea Salt or Himalayan Pink Salt

1/4 tsp Cayenne Pepper (optional)


Preheat oven to 300 degrees F. Rinse and spin Kale until thoroughly dry. Remove stems and roughly tear into large pieces. Add Kale leaves into large bowl. Massage leaf pieces with oil until all nooks and crannies are coated. Don’t over-oil. Mix spices and nutritional yeast. Sprinkle spice mixture on leaf pieces and toss to combine. Work in batches. Spread out leaf pieces as a single layer on a baking sheet, being sure not to overcrowd. Bake for 12 minutes. Rotate pan. Continue to bake for 12 more minutes. They will look shrunken which is normal. Cool for 3 minutes and enjoy!
