10 Reasons to Drink Enough Water Daily!

Could it really be that simple?  By drinking enough clean water each day I could prevent the most common illnesses to even the most life threatening conditions?

The answer is yes!  When you drink enough clean water each day, the body can rid itself of most ailments, including asthma, allergies, depression, cancer, Alzheimer’s, multiple sclerosis and muscular dystrophy.

The widespread acceptance of the medical community’s approach to illness with medication, surgery, or invasive procedures has slowed the majority of people to find the cause of the underlying problem, dehydration.

Each of our bodies are designed differently. You are unique. The “prescribed, one-size-fits-all” amount of eight 8 fluid ounce glasses of water is not enough. You demand water equivalent to 1/2 of your body weight in ounces, at a minimum.  Simply put, our bodies are made of 75% water and drinking the right amount of clean water is crucial for our organs, tissues, and cells to function properly.

But, don’t I drink enough fluids?  Today, we are drinking many beverages that are not water alone.  Most of these drinks are caffeinated (like coffee, tea, soda) and even many juices disrupt the body’s internal fluid balance.  For example, for every 8 ounce cup of coffee we drink it takes our body 12 ounces of water to compensate and reestablish balance.  Without drinking this amount of water, our body pulls from reserves in the cells and joints to process caffeine, which results in a net fluid loss.  Other water substitutes have a similar effect in depleting or dehydrating our body’s reserves.  The more fluids we drink that are not water, the more our body has to work to sustain the saline balance of water inside and outside the cells.

Our bodies need clean water to maintain its internal balance.  Here are 10 Reasons to Drink Enough Water Daily:

1. Heartburn and Clean Water

Heartburn is a signal of water shortage in the upper part of the gastrointestinal tract, a major thirst signal in the body.  The use of antacids or tablet medications produce inflammation of the stomach, hiatal hernia, ulcers, and eventually cancer of the gastrointestinal tract.  It has been said that by drinking water, you will lubricate this region and hydrate the cells surrounding this passage.

2. Arthritis and Clean Water

Rheumatoid joint pain or arthritis is your body’s signal of water shortage in the joints.  This condition can effect men and women of all ages.  Pain killers suppress the body from signaling dysfunction in the region and may lead to dependency.  It is commonly suggested that an increase of water consumption and small amounts of sea salt will remedy this problem.

3. Back Pain and Clean Water

Migraine headache is your body’s signal of a need for water in the brain and the eyes. Chronic dehydration may eventually cause inflammation of the back of the eye and possibly loss of eye sight.  Many have testified that clean water restores the balance of moisture in the eyes and hydrates the brain.

9. High Blood Cholesterol and Enough Clean Water

High cholesterol levels are an indicator of early drought management by the body. Cholesterol is a clay-like material that safeguards cell membranes from losing vital water content to surrounding blood.  It is used to manufacture nerve cell membranes and hormones and as a “shield” against water taxation of other vital cells.  It is commonly suggested that adequate water consumption provides the fluid necessary to perform these important functions.
